In 2016 EOE and Maxida collaborated in the creation of a round frame and a septum piercing inspired by the shape of a reindeer hoof, which drew international acclaim.

The northern roots of both EOE Eyewear and Märak made for a natural connection, and Märaks strong values and work for Sapmí rights is aligned with the values at EOE. Märak has besides her humanitarian work made an album together with Bluegrass Downhill Band named ‘Mountain Songs’ to protest the mining in Kallak, and worked together with Östersunds FK as a creative leader during a project that delved into Sapmí culture.
