Stone
"Precious stones from Swedish Lannavaara, the most eternal of materials."
It all started on a trip to northern Sweden, to Lannavaara, outside of Kiruna. The mission was to collaborate with a group of jewelers to conceive a collection made in gold, that later resulted in the Eternity Collection. During this process, their rich collection of stones inspired the creation of the Stone Collection. A large variety of gems were at hand, such as mountain crystals and quartz - many of them collected just outside their workshops or in nearby mines.
“Together with the rich knowledge of the jewelers and their deep understanding of craftsmanship, we were able to include these gems into our collection. Some as temple brooches, imbedded in 18k Gold, and some as stand alone pieces. The quartz for example, is picked right after it rains, when it is easier to spot them in the earth. This feels extra special since the grinding of the stones is then made with water, making the process sustainable and cohesive. ” - Camilla Lindberg, Creative Director EOE
