NJAVVE is a chunky cat eye frame crafted from biodegradable acetate and recycled Swedish steel. The end-tips features inlays of sustainably and ethically sourced reindeer antler.  The sunglasses feature bio-nylon lenses that provide 100% protection from UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. 

Also known as Saggatsfors, the village of Njavve was built during the latter half of 1700 as a Sami settlement. In 1884, it served as a turning point for a 220 km-long skiing contest, when the Artic Explorer Adolf Erik Nordenskiöld wanted to test his expedition members. Beating out the more famous Vasa Ski Race by 130 km.
