A personal and meaningful tribute to the dual heritage of co-founder Erik Lindmark.
Growing up in the far north of Sweden, Lindmark learned early the value of care and craftsmanship.
“Living here teaches you to notice things, to be attentive, to take care. That kind of care becomes part of the way you think about both work and everyday life,” he recalls.
Adopted from Sri Lanka as a baby, he carried a distant image of the island for decades. Returning as an adult with his family revealed unexpected parallels between the two worlds.
The Sri Lanka Resort Collection reflects these experiences. Every frame is crafted from Regrind Circular Acetate (made from recycled end-of-life eyewear) and Valuable Waste (production spill), EOE’s signature sustainable materials.
Each design embodies a deep commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability — values shared by the people of both Northern Sweden and Sri Lanka.
“There’s patience in how things are done, a confidence that comes from knowing your craft. It’s very different from northern Sweden, but there’s a clear connection between the two that I didn’t anticipate.”
A Celebration of Heritage
2026 marks a year of honoring roots at EOE Eyewear. Founders Erik and Emilia Lindmark celebrate the places that shaped them: Umeå and Lapland in Sweden, and Sri Lanka, the birthplace of Erik.
The Sri Lanka Resort Collection is a thoughtful homage to this heritage.

Giving Back to Sri Lanka’s Wildlife
In line with EOE Eyewear’s commitment to sustainable and meaningful practices, 10% of sales from the models KLARHET and KARG will be donated to the Induruwa Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Sri Lanka.
This unique center works to protect turtle eggs, incubate hatchlings, and rehabilitate injured and albino turtles. Beyond conservation, it also plays an important role in educating local communities and international visitors about marine life and environmental protection.
“Visiting Induruwa was an incredible experience,” says Lindmark. “The care and commitment of the team to protect these animals and their environment is truly inspiring. Being able to support this work through our eyewear feels natural—like bringing a part of Sri Lanka into EOE’s story.”
